Background: Adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is one of the most aggressive endocrine malignancies. The Fibroblast Growth Factor/Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGF/FGFR) pathway plays a role in both embryogenesis and tumorigenesis of adrenal gland.
